Saturday was Hillside Inside here in Guelph which lead to a nice long day of shooting (3pm until about 12:30am). The festival is the winter version of the summer festival held every year. This is the third year Hillside Inside has gone on and hopefully won’t be the last. With eleven acts on two stages,there was something for everyone at the festival.
This past weekend was the Hillside Festival, held at Guelph Lake, just north of the city. Having lived in Guelph since September, I have heard people talk about Hillside as if it is the holy grail of music festivals. On paper, the idea of the festival seemed like it should be a pretty good time; A weekend-long music festival, surrounded by all the interesting people to be found in Guelph, with a less than ideal weather forecast, all on an island…
